My Job:
As a maintenance instructor,
my job is to teach airline maintenance staff.
My topics are the electrical systems and all the avionic systems
of the aircraft types Boeing B757 and B767.
Airport Frankfurt: Flight Planner
The first contact with aviation I got was in the German Airforce.
In the airforce I worked with the F4F Phantom II .
A special event every year were the exercises in Sardinia,
where our pilots practise air to air and air to ground attacks.
One aircraft was used to carry a dart.
In 1978, I changed to the civil aviation and worked there approximately 12 years in aircraft maintenance.
In this time I worked on the following aircraft types: Boeing B707, B727, B737 and Douglas DC 10.
In 1990 I changed to my airline´s customer training department and became an instructor for the B737.
(Our customers are located nearly everywhere in the world.)
In the time between 1992 and 1994 I was involved in the "atari"-airplanes of Airbus Industries, A320 and A340.
We call them atari do to the sidestick.
1994, I got the opportunity to change back to the Boeing family.
Now I teach the topics electrical systems and avionics for the B757 and B767.
